Associate, Peachtree Women’s Clinic (Division of Atlanta Women’s Health Group).
High Risk and routine obstetric care. Comprehensive gynecologic services including advanced laparoscopic and minimally invasive surgery, well woman care, menopause, and breast care.

Training and Research Experience
Duke University Medical Center, 2004-2005- Advisors- Haywood Brown, M.D. and Diana Dell, M.D. Examination of the Prevalence of Postpartum Female Sexual Dysfunction and Identification of Modifiable Risk Factors.
Using the Female Sexual Function Index (FSFI), examined the amount of change in sexual function from baseline to 3 months postpartum and analyzed variables that may put patients at higher risk for developing postpartum female sexual dysfunction. Presented June 2005- Duke University Medical Center Resident’s Day.

An 18 Year Retrospective Characterization Analysis of 95 Adolescent Patients with Primary and Secondary Amenorrhea.

Teaching Assistant, The University of Michigan, Medical Outreach Program, 1991.
Responsible for the evaluation of student performance. Coordinated volunteering experience at The University of Michigan Medical Center and facilitated interactive group discussions on the medical, social, and emotional components of patient care.

Worked to improve technical skills during temporary leave from medical school around the birth of our son in 1999.

Executive Board Member/Trainer, Community Hypertension Project, The Ohio State University, 1996-1998.
Certified by the American Red Cross, to train participants to screen blood pressure. This project provides free blood pressure screening and hypertension education to medically underserved populations in Columbus, OH.

Administrative Assistant II, The Ohio State University Medical Center, 1995-1996.
Coordinated interaction between patients, physicians, and insurance agencies to establish coverage and eligibility of benefits. Provided assistance and counseling to patients regarding admission procedure and access to hospital programs in addition to updating medical information systems and coordinating interdepartmental maintenance of patient information.

Responsible for providing continuous educational, vocational, personal and social adjustment counseling on an individual and group basis. Facilitated staff training to develop greater proficiency in the areas of guidance, social skills development, and normative culture. Initiated and maintained an updated record of background, academic/vocational progress, and social development for each student. Trained by the Directorate of Civil Rights (Washington, DC) and responsible for creating and maintaining a discrimination-free work environment for all students and staff. Analyzed existing need for and coordinated access to support services such as Mental Health, Anger and Stress Management classes, Alcohol and other Drugs of Abuse counseling, Narcotics Anonymous, and Alcoholics Anonymous.
