Billing & Coding Coordinator This position is responsible for auditing clinic documentation, utilizing appropriate CPT and IDC-9 CM codes ensuring use of the correct level of service codes for charge posting, reviewing operative reports, labor & delivery reports, discharge summaries and prenatal records to prepare hospital billing for professional services. Will also act as an expert resource for coding questions from physicians and staff.
We seek an articulate, focused and detail oriented individual who enjoys the challenge of a busy desk. Responsibilities also include ante and post partum care, maintaining accurate health records and clinical files, implementing physician orders, and relating assessments to physician concerning patient's condition or changes in condition. The ideal candidates will hold a current Georgia RN license as well as a CNM license and be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Fetal monitoring and neonatal ACLS highly desirable.
