About Atlanta Women's Health Group

Atlanta Women's Health Group, PC was founded in 1999 from six of the most prestigious OB/GYN practices in Atlanta. It is one of the largest full-service Obstetrical and Gynecological practices in the southeastern United States. 

Atlanta Women’s Health Group, P.C. has since grown to over 50 physicians in 8 practices that serve 26 locations, including a Central Business Office and an Ambulatory Surgery Center.  Some of our offices offer ancillary services like mammography and bone densitometry as well as the option of providing a Certified Nurse Midwife.

The organization is governed by a Board of Directors, with members representing each of the practices and led by the President & Chief Executive Officer, Richard C. Zane, MD, who has served in this capacity since the organization was founded.

AWHG is affiliated with Northside Hospital and Northside Hospital Women's Services.
